Keycast Kohlswa installs new turning machine

2008-03-06 The refurbished and customized SMT 500 turning machine is now in production. The 60 kW machine features 36 tools and accepts work pieces with a diameter of 800 mm. The control system is SMT 4100. "The new turning machine is very stable and it will be utilized for rough machining of heavy off-road components," says machine shop manager Per-Arne Brostöm and continues: "This new addition will give us increased capacity and enable us to meet customer demands and maintain high delivery precision."
